The Intero Franchise
An Introduction to Franchising
Franchising refers to the method of adopting and using another’s business strategy. The franchisor grants the entrepreneur the license to use various company practices such as, management training, operating procedures and trademarks for a royalty fee, often a percentage of gross monthly income.
Franchising is a business strategy which has numerous advantages as a result of providing a turnkey business solution. The basic elements which characterize any well-run franchise business include direct coaching from a brand’s senior leadership team, access to a defined operating system and experienced, on-site support.
Franchising offers franchisees the advantage of starting up a new business quickly based on a proven formula of success, as opposed to having to build a new business from scratch. This is especially important in the real estate industry which includes aggressive competition and entrenched domestic and international brands.
Imagine, with the assistance and encouragement provided by the franchisor, the franchisee may be able to take their franchise business to a level which they wouldn't have been able to reach without the guidance of their franchisor.
Master Franchise Model
A master franchise allows an entrepreneur to obtain the long-term, exclusive rights to sell franchises within a defined territory. In exchange for an initial development fee, the master franchisee retains a significant portion of the initial fees and royalties collected from individual franchisees within their territory. Franchisee initial fees and royalties are earned by selling franchises within the territory. The master franchisee role and responsibilities include franchise sales, franchisee initiatives, servicing and support and brand promotion within the territory.
Direct Franchise Model
A direct franchise allows an entrepreneur to obtain rights to operate as the brand within a defined territory. In exchange for an initial development fee, the franchisee retains mostly all the income earned from real estate brokerage commissions and other ancillary revenue (less royalty fees). Traditionally, exclusivity or protected territory is not offered within the direct franchise model.
Intero's Strategy
Intero has begun to confidentially interview candidates throughout Asia Pacific. We are looking for strong regional partners who are real estate entrepreneurs and visionary leaders that can replicate the success of the INTERO brand in their market.
Our strategy is to offer the INTERO brand, its tools and systems, to a few select entrepreneurs who are interested in building a real estate enterprise by becoming an INTERO master franchisee in a designated exclusive territory. We are looking for entrepreneurs who know how to run a profitable operation and are not tied to the real estate paradigms of the past. Could you be one of those people?
